Versioning allows you to simplify your process app development by creating versions of your process app definition during various stages of the development process. You can also restore your process app to a previous version at any time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Create a New Version<\/b><\/h4>\n

To create a new version of your process app, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click the <\/span>Settings <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. By default, the <\/span>General Settings<\/b> page is displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On the left pane, click <\/span>Versioning<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. On the Versioning page, click <\/span>New Version<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. On the Create New Version window, enter the following details:<\/span>\n

    1. Name <\/b>– Enter a name for the new version<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Description <\/b>– Enter a short description for the new version<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Click <\/span>New Version<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>

      Restore a Version<\/b><\/h4>\n

      The Restore Version allows you to restore previous versions of your Process App. For example, let us consider you and your co-developer are working on creating a Process App. There are several stages involved in the creation of a Process App. After the completion of the first stage, there were a few updates made to the existing features and you wanted it to be included in the Process App. In this scenario, the restore option allows you to restore to the previous version and update those changes in the first stage.<\/p>\n

      To restore a version of your process app, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Click the <\/span>Settings <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. By default, the <\/span>General Settings<\/b> page is displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. On the left pane, click <\/span>Versioning<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. On the Versioning page, you can find the list of versions.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Hover over the version you want to restore and click the <\/span>restore <\/b>icon.<\/span><\/li>\n
      6. On the Restore Version dialog box, type <\/span>RESTORE <\/b>(upper case) in the text field.<\/span><\/li>\n
      7. Click <\/span>Confirm<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>

        Export a Version<\/b><\/h4>\n

        To export a version of your process app, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Click the <\/span>Settings <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. By default, the <\/span>General Settings<\/b> page is displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. On the left pane, click <\/span>Versioning<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. On the Versioning page, you can find the list of versions.<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. Hover over the version you want to export and click the <\/span>vertical ellipsis<\/b> icon.<\/span><\/li>\n
        6. Select <\/span>Export <\/b>from the list.<\/span><\/li>\n
        7. The version of your process app is exported and downloaded to your local system.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>

          Delete a Version<\/b><\/h4>\n

          To delete a version of your process app, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Click the <\/span>Settings <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. By default, the <\/span>General Settings<\/b> page is displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. On the left pane, click <\/span>Versioning<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
          4. On the Versioning page, you can find the list of versions.<\/span><\/li>\n
          5. Hover over the version you want to delete and click the <\/span>vertical ellipsis<\/b> icon.<\/span><\/li>\n
          6. Select <\/span>Delete <\/b>from the list.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>
