Data Tables allow you to persist custom data and retrieve it whenever needed. <\/span>Connect to Data Table<\/span><\/i> allows you to store, read, and modify the data in the data tables on the platform. For example, let us consider an approved leave request. To store the leave data, you can use the <\/span>Connect to Data Table<\/span><\/i> stencil and send data to the table.<\/span> Connecting to data tables help you to perform the following actions:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Add<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Get<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Update<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Delete<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    To connect to a data table and perform an action, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. On the left pane, you can find the <\/span>Integrations <\/b>section. Drag and drop the <\/span>Connect to Data Table <\/b>stencil from this section to the builder.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Click the <\/span>Connect to Data Table <\/b>stencil to open the Connect to Data Table<\/span> window.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. On the Connect to Data Table<\/span> window, enter the following details:<\/span>\n

      1. Name <\/b>– Enter a name for this task<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Request Definition<\/b> – Define the service request to access data tables or data views.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Under the <\/span>Request Definition <\/b>section, click <\/span>Define Request<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. On the <\/span>Data Service Request Definition page, select a table from the <\/span>Choose Data Table <\/b>drop-down list. <\/span>All data tables that are permitted to the process will be available for you to select. But only one table can be selected at a time. To provide access to the data table, follow the below steps:<\/span>\n

        1. On the landing page, click the <\/span>Data <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Click on the table you want to add permissions.<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. On the Update Table window, click <\/span>Process Assignments<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. In the search field, enter the Process App name and select it. The selected process apps in the account can access the data in this table.<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. Click <\/span>Update<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        6. Select an action (Add, Get, Update, Delete) from the <\/span>Actions <\/b>drop-down list.<\/span><\/li>\n
        7. Click <\/span>Test <\/b>to test the configuration.<\/span><\/li>\n
        8. On the Confirm to Proceed dialog box, click <\/span>Confirm<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        9.
