For example, let us consider an expense report that needs the Manager\u2019s approval. While building this process flow, the Manager must be provided with an option to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">approve <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reject <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the request. To achieve this, you can use Split logic. Split logic helps you to create branches like <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Approved <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rejected <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to suit the above requirement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4><b>Configure Split Logic<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To configure a Split logic in the process flow, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the left pane, you can find the <\/span><b>Logic <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">section. Drag and drop the <\/span><b>Split <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stencil from this section to the builder.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Split stencil is added to the builder with two branches (Branch1 and Branch2).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click the <\/span><b>Split <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stencil to open the Split window.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the Split window, enter the following details:<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Name &#8211; Enter a name for the split action. For example, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Manager Decision<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Branches &#8211; Edit and rename the branches (Branch1 and Branch2) as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Approved <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rejected<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Split Logic &#8211; Select any of the below options:<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Execute all Branches<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; If selected, all branches are executed simultaneously.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Execute on Condition <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; If selected, you can define a condition in the <\/span><b>Define Condition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> section below. You can define conditions based on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Process Fields, Form Fields, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Process Context<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. For example, let us select <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Process Fields<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under the <\/span><b>If <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">condition, you can select variables from the <\/span><b>Select Field Value<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> drop-down list and choose an <\/span><b>operator <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(exists, equal to, greater than equals to, less than equals to, not equals to, greater than, less than) from the respective drop-down list. In the <\/span><b>Value <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">field, enter a value (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">$2000<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can also add more conditions by clicking <\/span><b>+AND<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> or <\/span><b>+OR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">From the <\/span><b>Go to Branch<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> drop-down list, select <\/span><b>Approved<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the <\/span><b>Add Else-If<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> section, select <\/span><b>Rejected <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">from the <\/span><b>Else Go To Branch<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> drop-down list.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Close the Split window.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Split logic helps you to split the process into two or more branches and define the branch execution.
