Conversational Triggers refer to the triggers that occur through a conversational bot. You must associate Kore.ai conversational bots and use them to trigger your process app. To let the conversational bot trigger the process app, the bot is provided with permissions to perform the trigger action.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Configure Conversational Trigger<\/b><\/h4>\n

To configure a Conversational Trigger, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. After you log in to the Process App, it lands you on the <\/span>Flow <\/b>tab.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. On the right pane, click <\/span>Conversational<\/b> under <\/span>Triggers<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On the Conversational Trigger window, by default, the <\/span>Configure <\/b>tab is selected.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. On the Configure page, click <\/span>+ Variable <\/b>to add process variables. Variables allow you to use data from bots across your process app flow. Adding a variable is optional. If you want to trigger the process during the course of a conversation, you can add it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select a <\/span>Data Type<\/b> (String, Boolean, Number, Date) from the drop-down list.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Similarly, you can add multiple variables with different data types.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Click the <\/span>Instructions <\/b>tab to find the instructions to configure.<\/span>\n

    1. Define Payload<\/b> – Add the payload that is expected from the bot that acts as a trigger to the process app.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. To let the bot trigger the process app, the bot is provided with permissions to perform the trigger action. You can add permissions from <\/span>Settings <\/b>><\/span> Bot Permissions<\/b>. You can also enable the bot permissions after the Process App configuration.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. After you grant permissions, the developer must go to the bot builder dialog definition screen to add the process node and select the process app to trigger and perform the context mapping to pass the context data from the bot to the process app. You can also do this independently after creating and configuring the trigger.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4.
