These template bots serve as ready-to-use bots that enable you as a bot developer to explore the bot\u2019s capabilities and install them into their accounts. This document explains the installation of a <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Problem_Statement\"><\/span>Problem Statement<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Instead of building a bot from scratch, users can explore the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot and install it into their accounts that suit their business needs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pre-requisites\"><\/span>Pre-requisites<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A Kore.ai platform account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Install_Bot\"><\/span>Install Bot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can explore the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot before installing it. The explore option allows you to get an overview of the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot including the technical specifications, supported channels, integrations, and languages. For information, refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/docs\/bots\/bot-store\/store\/#Explore_Bots\">Explore Bots<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a Kore.ai platform user, you can access the store to explore and install the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot from within the platform.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the Kore.ai platform with valid credentials.<\/li>\n<li>On the landing page, you can use either of the below options to access the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot:\n<ul>\n<li>Click the <strong>Explore Bots<\/strong> banner at the bottom left.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>New Bot<\/strong> and select the <strong>Start from the Store<\/strong> option from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>Templates from Bot Store<\/strong> page, you can view, explore, and install the <em>Restaurant<\/em>\u00a0bot.<\/li>\n<li>Hover over the <em>Restaurant<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>bot to <strong>preview<\/strong> its features and click <strong>Install<\/strong> to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28458\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/v9-0\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/restaurant-bot.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1339\" height=\"615\" srcset=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/v9-0\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/restaurant-bot.png 1339w, https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/v9-0\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/restaurant-bot-300x138.png 300w, https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/v9-0\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/restaurant-bot-1024x470.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1339px) 100vw, 1339px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A <strong>Configure Sample Bot<\/strong>\u00a0window appears on the Bot Summary page.<\/li>\n<li>You can continue with the configuration or choose to set up the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot later. If you don\u2019t want to set it up immediately, just close the configure window. The option to set it up is available next to the bot name and you can set it up later.<\/li>\n<li>On the Configure Sample Bot window, by default, the\u00a0<strong>Instructions\u00a0<\/strong>tab is selected and you can find the installation instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>On the\u00a0<strong>Bot Settings<\/strong>\u00a0page:\n<ol>\n<li>Enter the\u00a0<strong>Bot Name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select an\u00a0<strong>icon<\/strong>:\n<ol>\n<li>Generic bot icon<\/li>\n<li>Custom icon &#8211; Click <strong>Choose File<\/strong> to upload an icon for your installed bot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>On the\u00a0<strong>Setup Bot Variables<\/strong> page, enter the corresponding values for the variable names. These are the values that the <em>Restaurant<\/em> bot needs for its execution.
