This feature helps configure how SmartAssist will handle automation for inbound voice calls. The platform offers the following options to transfer incoming calls:<\/p>\n

<\/span>Phone Number Configurations<\/span><\/h2>\n

This option helps add, edit, or delete a local or toll-free phone number to which incoming customer calls will be forwarded at a contact center.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Add or Purchase a Phone Number<\/span><\/h3>\n

To add a new phone number, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. On the left pane, click Channels <\/b>under SYSTEM SETUP<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  2. You will be taken to the Voice<\/strong> tab with Phone Numbers<\/strong> and SIP Transfer<\/strong> options listed on the page.

  3. In the Phone Numbers<\/strong> panel, click New <\/strong>button.\u00a0 If there are no phone numbers, a message Click on \u201cNew\u201d to add\/purchase a phone number<\/em> is displayed on the screen<\/li>\n
  4. The Call Phone Number window is displayed as below.

  5. Configure a custom local or toll-free number in the Get New Phone Number<\/strong> page, with the following steps:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
