This feature lets you configure the incoming mail setup<\/em> and outgoing mail setup<\/em> automation for your enterprise communication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

To add and configure a new email, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. On the left pane, click Channels\u00a0<\/strong>under\u00a0Automation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Then, click the Email<\/strong> tab under Enterprise Channel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. In the Email<\/strong> window, click + New Email.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. To configure Email Connection<\/strong> in the Add New Email<\/strong> window, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  • Click the Configuration<\/strong> tab, and provide inputs for the following fields:\n
      \n
    • Email Address<\/strong>: Type a valid email address to be added.<\/li>\n
    • Username<\/b>: Set the username for the email address.<\/li>\n
    • Password<\/b>: Set the password for the email address.

    • Incoming Mail Setup<\/b>: Provide inputs for the following values to configure the incoming emails:\n

      • Protocol<\/b>: Select the protocol used for accessing email from a local client. Currently, Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP)<\/i> is available.<\/li>\n
      • Incoming email server<\/b>: The email server that will handle incoming emails.

      • Port<\/b>: The configured port number to connect using IMAP<\/i> securely.<\/li>\n
      • Use SSL to Connect<\/b>: Check this option to secure the email communication between the sender and receiver with strong encryption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Outgoing Mail Setup<\/b>: Provide inputs for the following values to configure the outgoing emails:\n
          \n
        • Protocol<\/b>: Select the protocol used for sending an email from a local client. Currently, Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP)<\/i> is available.<\/li>\n
        • Outgoing email server<\/b>: The email server that will handle outgoing emails.<\/li>\n
        • Port<\/b>: The configured port number to connect using SMTP securely.<\/li>\n
        • Use SSL to Connect<\/b>: Check this option to secure the email communication between the sender and receiver with strong encryption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Click Test Connection<\/b> to test if the configured set up works.

          5. Type the required skill or select from the listed options for Assign Email address to Skill<\/strong> to map an agent skill to the email address.<\/p>\n

          6. Enable the Auto-response text<\/strong> option and type the text to be sent in the auto-response email if required after selecting the language.<\/p>\n

          7. (Optional) <\/em>Set the email template design by uploading the header and footer HTML files. To upload the files, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

          • Click Upload<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Select the file to be uploaded from the source location.<\/li>\n
          • A success confirmation message is displayed after the upload.

          • Alternatively, click Download HTML Example<\/b> to download the default example, modify the design, and upload the header and footer.
