<\/span>Conversational Bot<\/span><\/h2>\n

A conversational bot <\/span>is an AI-enabled computer program that simulates human conversation through voice commands, text chats, or email messages. It leverages AI to respond to human conversations with a specific set of predefined replies upon understanding intent and analyzing the context of the conversation. <\/span>You can embed and configure this software and integrate it with your customer support platform for various use cases.<\/span><\/p>\n

To start using SmartAssist, you need to create and configure a conversational bot, map an agent and the necessary automation workflows. SmartAssist also lets you create a bot using a pre-trained bot template.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Create a New Bot<\/span><\/h2>\n

To create a new bot, follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Go to Automations > Bots<\/strong> click <\/span>the <\/span>Add Bot <\/b>button<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n

If you have any bots already added they are listed on the page like in the following image.<\/p>\n

2. Click <\/span>Create Bot from Scratch <\/b>from the following displayed options.<\/p>\n

3. In the <\/span>Create a New Bot<\/b> window, provide the <\/span>SmartAssist Bot Name, <\/b>and select the <\/span>Default Bot Language<\/b> from the dropdown list.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Select the relevant Bot Definition<\/strong>, Bot Config<\/strong>, and\/or Custom Script<\/strong> files from your system or business cloud by clicking on Choose File<\/strong>, and import them by clicking the <\/span>Import <\/b>button.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n5. Select and upload an existing .png file or add a new icon for the bot icon image, and click <\/span>Create<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
