Based on the role, a user can either have or not have access, have view-only access, or full-access (both view and edit). The<strong> Role Management<\/strong> feature lets the user create roles and set the access level for various Agent functionalities.<\/p>\n<p><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.kore.ai\/smartassist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/Perminssions.png\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4192 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.kore.ai\/smartassist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/Perminssions.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"489\" height=\"308\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Add_a_New_Role\"><\/span>Add a New Role<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To add a new role, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p>1. In the <strong>New Role<\/strong> window, provide inputs for the following fields:<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/p>\n<p><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.kore.ai\/smartassist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/NewRole.png\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4195 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.kore.ai\/smartassist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/NewRole.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"488\" height=\"387\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Role Name<\/strong> \u2013 This name is assigned to an agent role (for example: administrator, system admin, developer).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Role Type<\/strong> &#8211; Select an option from the drop-down list (the default selection is <strong>Agent Desktop<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Description<\/strong> \u2013 Add the purpose and other information for roles and the responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Permission <\/strong>&#8211; Set the dashboard access controls permissions by selecting either No, View, or Full.\n<ul>\n<li>No for no access permission.<\/li>\n<li>View for only view access permission. and<\/li>\n<li>Full for full access (view and edit) permission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Edit_a_Role\"><\/span>Edit a Role<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To edit an existing role, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p>1.
