The Hours of Operation<\/strong> feature helps set and configure the hours of agent services available to customers based on the defined business operating hours, non-operating hours, and holidays.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

<\/span>Add Hours of Operation<\/span><\/h2>\n

To add the Hours of Operation <\/strong>for your business, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. On the left pane, click Hours of Operation <\/strong>under the ROUTING<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\"\"2. Click + New Hours <\/strong>to add a new Hours of Operation<\/strong> entry.<\/p>\n

3. In the New Hours of Operation<\/strong> window, enter the data for the following fields:<\/p>\n

  • Name <\/strong>\u2013 Add a name based on type or classification to identify the Hours of Operation<\/strong> profile. For example, Official Working Hours<\/strong>.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  • Time Zone<\/strong> \u2013 Select the time zone from the list to set the hours of operation.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  • Standard Hours Tab <\/strong>\u2013 Set the standard working hours explicitly or opt for the pre-selected hours (9 AM to 6 PM). By default, the status is set to open for weekdays and\u00a0closed for weekends. The status for Saturday or Sunday can be enabled or disabled.

  • Holidays & Special Days Tab<\/strong> \u2013 Set the date, Name, Period, Start Work Time, and End Work Time for holidays or special days. To add a new entry, click the + Add New\u00a0<\/strong>button.

  • First, provide the date<\/strong> and name<\/strong> and either enable or disable the Partial <\/strong>hours of operations for the default Start Work Time<\/strong> – 9:00 AM<\/strong> and End Work Time <\/strong>– 6:00 PM. <\/strong>This time can be reset using the clock widget shown below.

  • The duration for a Holiday or special can be set to Full <\/strong>day, or change the switch from Partial <\/strong>to Full<\/strong> which removes the Start Work Time<\/strong> and End Work Time<\/strong> input fields. \"\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    4. Click the delete<\/strong> icon to delete an entry.<\/p>\n

    To add a new data entry row, click +Add Another<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    5. Click Save<\/strong> after providing the field value inputs.<\/p>\n

    The new entries are listed in the Hours of Operation<\/strong> main page.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

    <\/span>Edit Hours of Operation<\/span><\/h2>\n

    To edit the data in the Hours of Operation<\/strong> section, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Click the vertical ellipsis (dotted) icon of the entry you wish to edit, and click Edit<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    2. In the Edit Hours of Operation<\/b> window, modify the required information for Name, Time Zone<\/i>, and the Standard Hours<\/i>, and Holidays & Special Days<\/i> options; and click Save<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    3. The edits made are displayed for that entry in Hours of Operations<\/strong>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n

    <\/span>Delete Hours of Operation<\/span><\/h2>\n

    To delete an existing Hours of Operation<\/strong> entry, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Click the vertical ellipsis<\/strong> (dotted) icon of the entry you wish to delete and click Delete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \"\"2. Click Delete <\/strong>button on the confirmation pop-up. A success confirmation message is displayed .<\/p>\n

    The deleted Hours of Operation<\/strong> entry is removed from the list.<\/p>\n
