Stop-Words are common words such as <\/span>the, is, in, a, to, all<\/span><\/i>, that dilute the importance of keywords in a search query. SearchAssist\u2019s search engine is designed to ignore stop words at the query or input level itself. Ignoring these stop words from search queries before executing them helps to get more relevant results.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SearchAssist Platform provides an out-of-the-box solution to add and manage Stop-Words. It comes with a default set of Stop-Words and you can add to or delete from the list or create\u00a0 your own list of stop-words from scratch.<\/span><\/p>\n

To add stop words, take the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click the\u00a0Indices\u00a0<\/b>tab on the top.<\/li>\n
  2. On the left pane, under the\u00a0Search Configuration<\/b>\u00a0section, click\u00a0Stop Words<\/b>.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
