SearchAssist\u2019s User Engagement feature displays the metrics with information on how users use the search application.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Access<\/span><\/h2>\n

To access user engagement, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Click the <\/span>Analytics <\/b>tab on the top and select <\/span>User Engagement <\/b>from the drop-down list.
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  • You can filter the metrics on a specific time period as follows:\n
      \n
    • past 24 Hrs,<\/li>\n
    • past 7 Days selected by default, or<\/li>\n
    • custom period by selecting the start and end date from the date picker provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>

      Total Users<\/span><\/td>\nThe number of unique users (based on the IP address) performed search during the selected period.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      New Users<\/span><\/td>\nThe number of new users that performed a search during the range selected.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Repeat Users<\/span><\/td>\nThe number of returning users that performed a search during the range selected.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Busy Hours<\/span><\/td>\nThe <\/span>volume of users<\/span><\/i> performed a search at different hours of the day. You can increase or reduce the hours tracked in a day using the slider below the graph.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Most Used Devices<\/span><\/td>\nDevices used by the users to perform the search sorted in the descending order of usage numbers. For example, desktops, mobile phones, etc.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Most Used Browsers<\/span><\/td>\nBrowsers used by the users to perform the search sorted in the descending order of usage numbers. For example,\u00a0 Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, etc.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
