In SearchAssist, you can configure destinations for your App to communicate with one or more channels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, SearchAssist allows you to configure channels only through <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Web\/Mobile Client<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To add channels, take the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the landing page, click the <\/span><b>Manage <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default, the<\/span><b> General Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> page is displayed. On the left pane, click <\/span><b>Channels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1989 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile-1-300x149.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile-1-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile-1.png 821w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the Channels page, click the <\/span><b>Web\/Mobile Client<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> card.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the Web\/Mobile Client\u2019s Instructions page,\u00a0 find the instructions displayed in four steps:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Register Credential<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 to create a credential or register an existing credential.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Define Callback URL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of your credential that invokes the SearchAssistKit SDK events.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Select Events<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> required and complete the setup process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <strong>Continue<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the Web\/Mobile Client\u2019s Select Credential page, you can<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select an existing credential, or<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add New Credential<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the Web\/Mobile Client\u2019s Generate Token page, you can find the app details:<a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1988 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile-300x149.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/SearchAssist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2022\/01\/manage_apps_channels_web-mobile.png 821w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">App ID, Client ID, and Client Secret ID are auto-generated.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the Allow Alert Task Setup section,\u00a0 select any of the following options:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes, let users set up alert tasks using the web client<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No, do not list alert tasks or allow users to set up alert tasks using the web client\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default, the Channel Enabled toggle is turned on.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage Channels<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can deactivate or delete the channel configurations. To disable or delete the configurations, take the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the landing page, click the <\/span><b>Manage <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default, the <\/span><b>General Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> page is displayed.
