To add facets, take the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click the <\/span>Indices <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. On the left pane, under the <\/span>Search Configuration<\/b> section, click <\/span>Facets<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On the Facets page, click +<\/strong><\/span>Add Facets<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. In the Add Facet dialog box, in the <\/span>Field Name<\/b> field, search for a field and select it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Enter a name in the <\/span>Facet Name<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Select the type from the <\/span>Facet Type<\/b> dropdown as either <\/span>Range<\/span><\/i> or <\/span>Value.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/i><\/li>\n
  7. For the Value type facet, you can further customize the user experience by configuring the following details:<\/span>\n

    1. Enter maximum number of facet values to be provided for user selection under Facet Size <\/b>.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Facet values to be provided <\/span>Sort by<\/b>\n
        \n
      1. Ascending or Descending value of <\/span>Count<\/b><\/li>\n
      2. Ascending or Descending value of <\/span>Label<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. For the Range type facet, you can further customize the user experience by configuring the following details:<\/span>\n

        1. Optional <\/span>Range Name<\/b>, if not provided, then the range is displayed as the name for the user.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. From<\/b> and <\/span>To<\/b> values to be provided to the user for selection.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
        3. You can add multiple ranges.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        4. Turn on the <\/span>Multi-Select<\/b> toggle to allow the user to select multiple facets values.<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. Click <\/span>Add<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
