Files are\u00a0 a <\/span>static <\/span>source of content for your App. Consider a scenario in a bank where the business user has prepared a step-by-step guide for the bank customer on \u201cHow to open an online Demat account\u201d. This guide can help banking customers to know about opening a Demat account.<\/span><\/p>\n

SearchAssist allows you to <\/span>upload such How-to<\/em> guides in file format into the <\/span>App. You can upload files of PDF, DOCX, PPT, XLSX, and TXT file types. These files will be indexed and will be available for ready retrieval, as answers to the search queries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Upload a File either by browsing from a local storage and uploading or from the\u00a0 URL path from where the file is accessible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Uploading Content from Files<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

To upload a file, take the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click the <\/span>Sources <\/b>tab on the top.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. On the left pane, under the <\/span>Sources <\/b>section, click <\/span>Content<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On the Add Content page, click <\/span>Upload File<\/b>.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. In the Upload File dialog box, enter a name in the <\/span>Source Title<\/b> field and a description in the <\/span>Description <\/b>field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Upload a file:<\/span>\n

    1. From the <\/span>Extract from File <\/b>section, drag and drop a file or click <\/span>Browse <\/b>to locate the file.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. From the <\/span>Extract from URL<\/b> section, enter a domain URL in the <\/span>Enter URL<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Click <\/span>Proceed<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
